Privately-owned housing units authorized by building permits in June were down 3.7% from May 2023 and down 15.3% from June 2022. Single-family authorizations were up 2.2% from May 2023.
Privately-owned housing completions in June were down 3.3% from May 2023 and up 5.5% from June 2022. Single-family housing completions in June were down 2.8% from May.
