Electrical distributor Wesco International (NYSE: WCC) reported sales for the third quarter 2023 were $5.6 billion, up 4% year over year. Organic sales growth was 3%.

Profit for the quarter was $234 million.
Sales for the first nine months were $16.9 billion, up 6.6%. Organic sales for the first nine months were up 5.3%. Profit year to date was $623.6 million.
By segment:
- EES reported sales of $2.2 billion for the third quarter of 2023, a decrease of 2%. Organic sales for the third quarter of 2023 declined by 0.2%. Sales fell 1.9% in the first nine months.
- CSS reported sales of $1.8 billion for the third quarter of 2023, an increase of 11%. Organic sales for the third quarter of 2023 grew by 4.1%. Sales in this segment grew 15.6% in the first nine months.
- UBS reported sales of $1.7 billion for the third quarter of 2023, an increase of 4.2%. Organic sales for the third quarter of 2023 grew by 5.8%. Sales grew 10% in the first nine months.
