House-Hasson Hardware has named Jeff Land chief executive officer, succeeding Steve Henry, who is retiring after 16 years with the company.
Land joins the Knoxville, Tennessee–based distributor from Northern Tool & Equipment, where he served as senior vice president with responsibility for merchandising, inventory management, product management, and global sourcing. He previously held senior leadership roles at Generac and Harbor Freight.
Board Chairman Jim Hasson said the appointment followed a nationwide search and reflects the company’s focus on dealer-centered operations as its business

grows. Henry said the transition positions House-Hasson to continue supporting its dealer network, vendors, and employees.
Land said he plans to build on the company’s long-standing dealer-focused model and invest in capabilities and partnerships to support future growth.
House-Hasson operates in 26 states across the eastern United States, as well as the Caribbean and Central America. The company is the largest independent regional wholesale distributor of hardware and building materials in the U.S., serving more than 2,000 independent retailers through a sales force of about 70 representatives, four distribution centers and more than 600 employees.
