The Cook & Boardman Group LLC (C&B), Winston-Salem, NC, specialty distributor of commercial entry solutions and systems integration services, has acquired Maryland-based Bunting Door & Hardware Co. Inc. and Loktek LLC.
Bunting Door & Hardware and Loktek provide commercial doors, frames and hardware, and electronic access control products to the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia.

C&B services nonresidential customers from more than 70 locations across 23 states. In 2023, Platinum Equity acquired a majority interest in the company. The Bunting acquisition is the fifth under Platinum Equity’s ownership.
