ServiceCall Expands AI Property Intelligence Platform with 350 Million Permit Records

Why This Matters to Distributors: Distributors serving HVAC, roofing, plumbing, and building products contractors are increasingly competing on data and market intelligence, not just product availability. AI-driven permit and property analytics could help distributors better forecast demand, target contractor sales and respond faster to replacement and storm-driven activity.

ServiceCall has expanded its artificial intelligence-powered property intelligence platform to include more than 350 million permit records tied to 126 million residential properties nationwide, reflecting growing demand for predictive data tools across the home services and construction supply chain.

The Plantation, Florida-based company said the platform aggregates permit records, contractor data, property records, weather intelligence, and homeowner buying signals into a centralized system used by contractors, distributors, manufacturers, insurers, and property technology companies.

ServiceCall said the expanded platform now includes consumer buyer-intent data, real-time storm and weather damage alerts, AI-generated roof reports, contractor permitting histories and rebate intelligence. The company also launched a field intelligence application called “Know Before You Go,” designed to provide contractors and sales teams with property-level insights before arriving at customer locations.

The company said its AI platform standardizes fragmented permit and inspection data from thousands of municipalities and combines it with contractor filings, weather systems, and property records to generate operational and sales intelligence.

Industries using the platform include HVAC, roofing, solar, pools, generators, insurance, mortgage lending, home warranty services and building materials distribution, according to the company.

“This is far bigger than permit data,” Mike Chadwick, chief operating officer of ServiceCall, said in a statement. “We’re building the intelligence layer powering the future of the home services industry.”

For distributors, expanded access to permit activity, equipment replacement cycles and weather-related demand signals could improve inventory planning, contractor targeting and regional sales forecasting, particularly in HVAC, roofing, and exterior building products markets where replacement demand and storm activity heavily influence purchasing patterns.

The announcement reflects broader adoption of AI-driven analytics tools across distribution and home services industries as companies seek more precise ways to identify demand, improve sales productivity, and anticipate repair and replacement activity.

ServiceCall is backed by Exuma Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on technology, real estate, food and beverage, and home services investments.
