Wajax Sales Up 14.7% In Second Quarter 2023

Wajax Corp., Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a multi-line distributor serving various industries, reported sales for its fiscal 2023 second quarter were $586.2 million (Canadian dollars), up 14.7% from the prior-year period.

Net income for the quarter was $29 million, up 33.5% from the prior-year period.

Wajax also reported sales for its first six months of 2023 were $1.1 billion, up 15.9% from the first six months of 2022. Net income for the first six months totaled $46.5 million, up 23% from the prior-year period.

“Our strong financial performance in the second quarter was driven by clear execution against our core strategic priorities,” said Iggy Domagalski, CEO. “Top-line growth was supported by sustained customer demand across all regions, including continued positive momentum in central Canada.”
