April 2024 sales of merchant wholesalers, except manufacturers’ sales branches and offices, after adjustment for seasonal variations and trading day differences but not for price changes, were $663.8 billion, up 0.1% from the revised March level.

Total inventories of merchant wholesalers were $895.8 billion at the end of April, up 0.1% from the revised March level. Total inventories were down 1.7% from the revised April 2023 level.
The April inventories/sales ratio was 1.35. The April 2023 ratio was 1.39.
