IMARK Forms Current Distribution Group to Align Multi-Vertical Operations

Why This Matters to Distributors: The formation of Current Distribution Group signals increasing scale and coordination among buying groups, potentially affecting supplier relationships, purchasing leverage and competitive positioning for independent distributors.

IMARK Group has formed a new parent organization, Current Distribution Group, to unify its expanding portfolio of distribution verticals under a single structure.

The company said the new entity is intended to better coordinate strategy, resources and growth initiatives across its member networks while preserving the independence of each business unit.

Current Distribution Group will include IMARK’s affiliated platforms: IMARK Plumbing, IMARK HVAC, Luxury Products Group, Empower Electrical, Victory Irrigation, Victory Waterworks and Victory PVF.

Each vertical will continue to operate with its own leadership and market focus, while gaining access to shared services and increased collaboration across industries, according to the company’s announcement.

The move reflects IMARK’s expansion beyond its traditional plumbing base into adjacent sectors, including HVAC, electrical and infrastructure-related distribution. It also formalizes the “Victory” branding across several legacy businesses, including irrigation, waterworks and pipe, valves, and fittings.

John Aykroyd will serve as president of Current Distribution Group. He said the structure is designed to better align the organization’s businesses and support long-term growth.

IMARK is a member-owned marketing group that provides purchasing programs, supplier relationships, and business services to independently owned distributors across industries.

The company did not disclose financial terms or any changes to ownership structure associated with the reorganization.
