Texcel Opens Nevada Distribution Center to Expand Western U.S. Coverage

Why This Matters to Distributors: The new facility positions inventory closer to West Coast customers, helping reduce delivery times and improve product availability.

Industrial hose and hydraulic products distributor Texcel have opened an 80,000-square-foot distribution center in Fernley, Nevada, expanding its distribution network and strengthening service capabilities across the western United States.

The facility, which opened on June 1, is the Houston-based company’s sixth regional warehouse and is strategically located east of Reno along a key transportation corridor serving the West Coast.

Texcel said the warehouse stocks industrial hose, hydraulic hose and flat goods inventory and will support one- to two-day delivery times for customers throughout much of the western United States.

Expansion extends Texcel’s geographic reach as distributors and suppliers continue investing in regional fulfillment networks to improve service levels and reduce transit times.

Founded more than 40 years ago, Texcel supplies industrial hose, hydraulic products, and fluid sealing solutions to customers nationwide. The company operates additional facilities in Texas, Colorado, Alabama, Delaware, and Illinois.

“The opening of our Fernley facility represents an exciting milestone for Texcel as we continue to grow our national footprint and better serve customers across the western United States,” CEO Jake Walker said. “This location allows us to strengthen our distribution network, improve delivery times and remain committed to the quality and service our customers have relied on for decades.”

Fernley has emerged as a growing logistics hub because of its proximity to Reno, Interstate 80 and major freight routes serving California and other western states.

The new facility gives Texcel a stronger inventory position in the region and expands its ability to serve industrial customers in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and neighboring markets.
