Why This Matters to Distributors: The acquisitions reflect continued consolidation in the heavy-duty aftermarket as distributors expand beyond parts sales into repair and mobile service. Combining distribution with service can improve parts availability, increase customer retention, and create recurring revenue opportunities.
Road Warrior Parts & Service has expanded its national heavy-duty truck parts distribution and repair network through the acquisitions of three companies in Kentucky, Missouri, and California.
The company has acquired LASCO Heavy Duty, Mid-States Tire and Retread and Colton Truck Terminal Garage. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
The acquisitions expand Road Warrior’s distribution footprint while adding repair, tire, and mobile service capabilities in several regional transportation markets. The company said the deals support its strategy of building an integrated network of aftermarket parts distribution and heavy-duty repair operations.
LASCO Heavy Duty, based in Kentucky, traces its roots to 1927 as Louisville Auto Spring & Brake. The company operates locations in Louisville and Lexington, providing custom spring manufacturing, heavy-duty brake service, axle repairs, wheel alignments and trailer anti-lock braking system repairs.
Mid-States Tire and Retread serves the Kansas City market with commercial tire sales, in-shop service and 24/7 mobile roadside assistance for heavy-duty trucks and trailers within a 100-mile radius.
Colton Truck Terminal Garage, founded in 1956, provides repair services for heavy-duty trucks, recreational vehicles, and motorhomes in Southern California, specializing in brake and suspension work.
Road Warrior said the acquisitions strengthen their ability to combine aftermarket parts distribution with repair services, allowing customers to source replacement parts and maintenance through a single provider. The company also said the additions expand its mobile repair capabilities.
Joe Petosa, partner at Sope Creek Capital and chief financial officer of Road Warrior Parts & Service, said the company will continue building a network of heavy-duty parts distributors and repair businesses.
Road Warrior said it remains active in pursuing additional acquisitions to expand its geographic reach and service offerings.
