All State Fastener Expands Ohio Distribution, Seeks Acquisitions

Why This Matters to Distributors: All State Fastener is pairing warehouse expansion with additional production support services and an acquisition push. Its new Ohio facility puts more inventory near heavy truck manufacturers and their suppliers, supporting efforts to capture more customer spending beyond traditional fasteners.

All State Fastener has opened a larger distribution center in Chillicothe, Ohio, to serve heavy truck manufacturers and their suppliers, part of a North American expansion that has added more than 100,000 square feet of capacity this year.

The distributor also is seeking acquisitions of fastener and component businesses and plans additional facilities in Mexico and the northeastern United States in 2027. The investments are intended to expand their geographic reach, product offerings, and services for manufacturing customers.

“All State Fastener is growing with purpose, expanding in the markets where our customers need us, investing ahead of demand and building the capabilities to win new business across a broader range of industries and products,” CEO Dan Hill said in an Oct. 14 announcement.

The fully operational distribution center at 360 Douglas Ave. replaces an existing Chillicothe location less than 10 miles away. It holds tens of millions of dollars in inventory, according to the company, which did not disclose the building’s size or purchase price.

The Giorgio family, which has owned and operated All State Fastener since its founding in 1963, acquired the building in a private transaction. The company marked the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 13.

The facility supports more than 40 employees, including new hires, and has helped double All State Fastener’s employment in the Chillicothe area, the company said. It adds space for inventory, kitting and assembly, sequencing, vendor-managed inventory, cross-docking, and quality inspection.

“From an operational standpoint, Douglas gives us the capacity and flexibility to grow with our customers from a centrally located, multi-use facility that can service every tier of the heavy truck network,” Chief Operating Officer Andrew Taylor said.

The Ohio project follows recent additions in Renton, Washington; Ste. Thérèse, Quebec; and Mexicali, Mexico. Together, those investments have added more than 100,000 square feet to the company’s North American distribution network, positioning inventory, and services closer to manufacturing customers.

All State Fastener said the added capacity will support expansion beyond traditional fasteners into a wider range of components used by transportation manufacturers and their suppliers. The announcement did not identify customers or disclose sales tied to the projects.

Acquisitions are another part of the growth strategy. The company said it is seeking established fastener and component distributors whose owners want long-term ownership backed by resources for continued expansion.

“We are also aggressively pursuing acquisitions we believe can strengthen our capabilities, expand our reach and enhance the value we provide new and existing customers,” Chief Financial Officer Nolan Monforton said.

Monforton said All State Fastener is investing in employees, facilities, and technology across the business. The company did not identify acquisition targets or disclose a timetable for transactions.

Based in Roseville, Michigan, All State Fastener distributes standard and engineered fasteners and related production components. It serves original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers in automotive, heavy trucks, trailer, and other manufacturing markets, providing sourcing, inventory management, engineering, and technical support.
