Stoney Creek specializes in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder repair.

The deal is expected to close at the end of the month. It marks Motion’s latest foray into the Canadian market, following the acquisitions of fellow Canadian companies LSI Supply Inc. and 273 Ontario in August.

“As we continue to execute our acquisition strategy to grow our services, we are pleased to welcome Stoney Creek Hydraulics employees to Motion,” said James Howe, Motion’s president. “Their skills and capabilities will bolster our hydraulic offering in Canada and complement our mechanical repair services in the region.”

Motion has more than 550 locations and 17 distribution centers across North America, as well as more than 150 locations and 13 distribution centers in Australasia. It has annual sales of more than $8 billion.
