US LBM, Buffalo Grove, Ill., a national specialty building materials distributor, has acquired Texas Tool Traders, a Texas-based supplier of construction fasteners, tools and supplies to framing contractors, builders and remodelers.

“The addition of Texas Tool Traders expands our comprehensive product and service portfolio in Texas, enhancing the value we bring to builders in Texas’ major metro markets, which continue to have high levels of new construction,” said L.T. Gibson, US LBM president and CEO.
Texas Tool Traders has been in business since 1973 and operates 14 locations throughout Texas, serving customers in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston-metro.
