Distributor mSupply Names a President as It Expands HVAC Parts Strategy

Why This Matters to Distributors: mSupply is putting sales, operations, supply chain, and ecommerce under one executive as it works to expand next-day availability of HVAC parts across its North American distribution network. The move ties together product availability, physical distribution and digital commerce as the company continues to expand beyond its appliance-parts roots.

Distributor mSupply has promoted chief commercial officer Phil Mause to president, giving him responsibility for the distributor’s sales, operations, supply chain, and digital businesses as the company works to broaden next-day access to HVAC parts.

The appointment was effective Sept. 30. He will oversee sales, operations, supply chain, digital, ecommerce, marketing, and merchandising.

The company is a North American distributor of original equipment manufacturer repair parts, equipment and supplies for the HVAC, plumbing, and appliance industries. The company oversees two dozen business units and operates through regional distribution businesses and digital channels across the U.S. and Canada.

The company says its distribution footprint includes 14 regional distribution centers and more than 2.8 million square feet of warehouse space. It supports more than 36,000 service providers and offers same-day shipping and next-day ground delivery to more than 90% of the U.S. and Canada.

Mause’s promotion brings much of mSupply’s commercial and operating organization under a single executive. The company said the structure is intended to make its broader HVAC parts assortment available to customers for next-day delivery across its distribution network and digital channels.

“Our next opportunity is bigger: putting our full HVAC parts offering within reach of every customer across our entire physical and digital footprint,” CEO Asterios Satrazemis said.

Satrazemis will remain CEO and focus on corporate strategy, capital allocation, acquisitions, and the company’s long-term direction.

Mause joined mSupply in 2024 as chief commercial officer and led changes to its sales and go-to-market strategy. The company said those changes generated double-digit growth but did not disclose sales figures supporting the claim.

Before joining mSupply, Mause was senior vice president of strategic accounts and services at RB Global, where he oversaw SmartEquip, an original equipment manufacturer parts procurement platform used by more than 800 manufacturer and supplier brands. He previously co-founded Rouse Rental Insights, a market intelligence provider serving the equipment rental industry.

“We have strong teams and deep customer relationships across appliance, HVAC and plumbing,” Mause said. “The opportunity in front of us is to bring the full breadth of our HVAC parts expertise and assortment to every customer we serve.”

The leadership change comes as mSupply continues to build out the organization supporting its distribution and digital operations.

In February, mSupply named Srini Sundarrajan chief information officer to oversee its technology organization, enterprise systems strategy, and digital infrastructure. Later that month, the company hired Jeff Burwell for the newly created position of vice president of merchandising, with responsibility for category strategy, channel execution, and digital merchandising.

mSupply, formerly known as Marcone Group, adopted its current name in 2025 after expanding beyond its traditional appliance-parts business. Its operating companies include Marcone Appliance Parts and HVAC distributors Munch’s Supply, BellSimons, O’Connor Company, Marks Supply, Comfort Air Distributing and several other regional businesses.

The promotion gives Mause responsibility for many of the functions involved in executing mSupply’s next phase of growth, from inventory and supply chain operations to sales, merchandising, and ecommerce. The immediate objective is to use that combined organization to make a broader HVAC parts assortment consistently available for next-day delivery across the company’s physical and digital network.
