Relevant Industrial, LLC, a distributor of instrumentation and automation, rotating, thermal and purification equipment based in Houston, has acquired Controlled Fluids Inc. (CFI), a distributor of industrial fluid power, lubrication systems and motion control solutions based in Beaumont, Texas.

CFI serves customers in the oil and gas, refining, chemical processing and wood and paper industries.

Relevant operates more than 30 locations across the U.S. With this acquisition, the company adds three more locations in the West South Central region: Broussard, La.; Broken Arrow, Okla.; and Beaumont.
