Dickinson previously served as chief financial officer for Schneider Electric’s North American operations. He has more than 20 years of experience in business operations, corporate strategy, and organizational transformation.

Border States operates 125 locations across 31 states, supplying electrical products and related services to contractors, industrial customers, and utilities.
Dickinson said he intends to spend his first several months visiting branches and operations, meeting employees, customers and suppliers, and assessing the company’s operations and growth opportunities.
His appointment brings experience from Schneider Electric, a global manufacturer of electrical equipment and industrial automation technology, to a distributor serving many of the same markets.
Border States did not disclose whether the appointment would result in additional executive changes or new investments.
