Why This Matters to Distributors: SiteOne’s purchase of Bedrock adds specialized products, technical expertise, and customers across 40 states. The acquisition supports its strategy of expanding product offerings and giving landscape professionals more reasons to consolidate purchases with the distributor.
SiteOne Landscape Supply has acquired Bedrock Environmental Seed & Supply, adding a distributor serving customers in 40 states as it expands its erosion control business.
The Roswell, Georgia-based landscape supplies wholesaler announced the completed acquisition Nov. 2, its fourth purchase of 2026. The announcement did not disclose financial terms, Bedrock’s annual sales, or its number of locations.
Bedrock distributes erosion control, seed, and landscape supplies. SiteOne said the acquisition broadens its erosion control offerings, adds technical expertise, and creates opportunities to extend its distribution network.
“This acquisition strengthens our position in the erosion control market with a highly respected organization,” said Doug Black, SiteOne’s chairman and CEO. “Bedrock expands our capabilities in attractive growth markets, creates opportunities to extend our distribution network and enhances our ability to serve customers with a broader portfolio of erosion control solutions.”
The transaction advances SiteOne’s strategy of offering a full range of landscape supplies and services in more markets. Along with products, the company is adding Bedrock’s customer relationships and expertise in supporting landscape and construction projects.
“Erosion control continues to be an increasingly important component of successful landscape and construction projects,” said Dan Carrothers, SiteOne’s vice president of agronomic business development. “Bedrock’s deep product expertise, extensive reach, and customer relationships make them an excellent complement to SiteOne’s capabilities.”
Bedrock founder and CEO John P. Carson III said the sale would support expansion and investment in employees. Bedrock President Lacy Graham said joining SiteOne also would create opportunities to strengthen vendor relationships and support customers from project planning and installation through long-term maintenance.
SiteOne primarily serves residential and commercial landscape professionals who design, install, and maintain lawns, gardens, golf courses, and other outdoor spaces. It distributes landscape supplies across the United States and has operations in Canada.
