Würth Industry USA Names Supply Chain and Finance Chiefs

Why This Matters to Distributors: The appointments put new executives in charge of purchasing, product management, quality, and finance as Würth seeks to coordinate global sourcing and improve operating efficiency.

Würth Industry USA, a distributor of fasteners, industrial products and maintenance supplies, has appointed Mauricio Morales chief supply chain officer and Niki Rutter chief financial officer.

The Roanoke, Virginia-based company announced the appointments Oct. 27. Morales will begin Jan. 1, while Rutter’s appointment took effect in October.

Morales will oversee procurement, product management, and quality, focusing on global purchasing collaboration and spending consolidation. He brings more than 20 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management, including strategic sourcing and supplier collaboration.

He joins from Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG, where he serves as vice president of purchasing and deputy general manager of purchasing.

Rutter will oversee finance and human resources. She has more than 25 years of experience in the protein-processing industry, with a background in finance and business operations. Würth said the appointments support its efforts to improve collaboration, operating efficiency, and long-term growth.

Würth Industry USA also supplies construction products and personal protective equipment and provides inventory management, kitting, and assembly services. The company is part of Würth Industry North America, a division of Germany-based Würth Group.
