Beacon (Nasdaq: BECN), Herndon, Va., a distributor of roofing materials and complementary products across the U.S. and Canada, has acquired General Siding Supply, a distributor of building supplies to Midwest contractors.

General Siding Supply’s customers can now access Beacon PRO+ for online ordering and delivery tracking.
“This acquisition deepens our complementary building product offering and adds branch locations that expand our branch network in key markets,” said Bill Sarvis, Beacon’s regional vice president, Midwest.
Beacon has completed three acquisitions, adding 12 branches in 2024, including General Siding’s headquarters in Omaha, Neb., and locations in Lincoln, Neb., Grand Island, Neb., Sioux City, Iowa, and West Fargo, N. Dak.
Beacon operates over 540 branches in 50 states in the U.S. and seven provinces in Canada.
