ABC Supply Co. Inc., a large wholesale distributor of roofing and other select exterior and interior building products in North America, said it will rename two of its divisions as part of a broader effort to align its businesses under a unified brand.
Under the new structure, L&W Supply will operate as ABC Supply Interiors, and Town & Country Industries will operate as ABC Supply Outdoor Solutions. ABC Supply will retain its name and continue to focus on exterior building products.
The Beloit, Wisconsin-based company said the change is limited to branding and will not affect customer accounts, pricing, systems, service levels, or staffing.
“For more than four decades, making it easy for contractors to do business with us and get their jobs done has been at the core of ABC Supply,” president and chief operating officer Mike Jost said. “We’ve supported customers across exteriors, interiors and outdoor solutions for years, and this name change reinforces our commitment to serving them across those categories with the same support from our local teams.”
ABC Supply said the rebranding is intended to provide greater clarity for customers, vendors and partners while reinforcing its reach across exterior, interior, and adjacent building-envelope categories. Each division will retain its specialty focus and resolute teams, the company said.
Updates to signage, digital platforms and other materials will be introduced in phases.
Founded in 1982, ABC Supply operates more than 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada. The company acquired L&W Supply in November 2016. L&W Supply, founded in 1971, operates more than 270 branches nationwide and distributes wallboard, ceiling systems, steel studs, insulation, and related interior building materials.
Town & Country Industries distributes aluminum and other building products and operates 36 locations across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Alabama.
