All Metals Fabricating has joined a group of investors to acquire Power Electric Supply Company, an electrical and telecommunications distributor formerly known as Meister Supply Company, as demand grows for electrical infrastructure tied to data centers and power generation.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Power Electric Supply, founded in 2003 as Meister Supply Company, distributes electrical and telecommunications products and provides procurement, warehousing, and delivery services. The company operates locations in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston, serving contractors and infrastructure projects across Texas.
The investment connects Power Electric Supply’s distribution network with the manufacturing capabilities of All Metals Fabricating, a Texas-based metal fabrication company that produces components used in electrical and industrial infrastructure.
All Metals Fabricating CEO Lance Thrailkill said the partnership is designed to simplify sourcing and improve pricing for customers involved in large electrical projects.
“We are extremely excited about the value this partnership will create for both our customers and the customers of Meister Supply Company,” Thrailkill said in a statement. “I was so impressed with the culture and team at Meister Supply Company, and I wanted to be a part of their future growth.”
The companies said the relationship will expand All Metals Fabricating’s ability to supply copper bus bar and related components used in electrical distribution systems. Demand for bus bar assemblies has increased in recent years as utilities, data centers and industrial facilities expand power infrastructure.
Power Electric Supply customers will be able to source bus bar assemblies manufactured by All Metals Fabricating, while the manufacturer gains additional sourcing options through the distributor’s supplier network.
“There have already been projects where we’ve seen Power Electric Supply Company source components for a better price and faster than any of our other distribution partners,” Thrailkill said.
All Metals Fabricating, founded in 1953 and based in Allen, Texas, provides precision sheet metal fabrication, machining and finishing services for industrial and infrastructure applications.
The companies said the partnership is expected to help support rising infrastructure demand in Texas, particularly as North Texas continues to attract data center development and related power distribution projects.
