Reliance Worldwide Corp. has opened a new training center in Atlanta designed to give wholesale distributors, contractors, and plumbing professionals direct experience with its portfolio of plumbing brands and installation technologies.
RWC, an Australia-based manufacturer whose brands include SharkBite, HoldRite, Cash Acme, John Guest, Eastman, and EZ-Flo, said the facility will serve as a centralized education hub for both internal teams and external partners across its wholesale channel.
“The RWC training center is unlike anything else in our industry,” said Peter Regan, commercial regional manager at RWC. “It gives our partners the chance to see and interact with our products in a real-world setting, which is critical for understanding the quality and innovation behind every solution we offer.”
Company executives positioned the center as a resource built specifically for wholesale partners, offering a venue for product training, contractor training, and closer engagement between RWC and the distributors that carry its products.
“The new training center is a game-changer for our wholesale partners,” said Kevin Mayer, vice president of wholesale sales at RWC. “It gives them a firsthand look at how RWC’s solutions deliver real value on the job site. It also provides a great opportunity to strengthen relationships and serve as a valuable resource for wholesalers, contractors, and specifiers.”
The facility will host customer education sessions, apprentice programs, and internal training for new employees. Visitors can interact with RWC’s full range of plumbing and mechanical products, including push-to-connect fittings, PEX piping systems, control valves, and appliance connectors, in settings designed to simulate real jobsite applications.
RWC said the training center reflects three strategic priorities for the company: creating practical jobsite solutions, driving value for distributors, and delivering consistent execution across its brands.
“By uniting our products, engineering expertise and RWC’s trusted family of brands under one roof, we’re creating an immersive experience that educates users on the full breadth of what RWC offers,” said Clayton Boardman, senior vice president of sales and product at RWC.
In addition to serving as a learning space, RWC said the center is intended to help introduce newer tradespeople to modern plumbing technologies through direct instruction and demonstrations.
