Beacon (NYSE: BECN), Herdon, Va., roofing and building materials distributor, reported sales for fiscal year 2023 were $9.12 billion, an increase of 8.2% over 2022.

Profit for the year was $435 million.
Beacon’s sales in the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31, 2023, were $2.3 billion, up 16.8% from the prior-year period. Profit for the quarter was $95.1 million.
“Our 2023 results demonstrate that our Ambition 2025 strategy has multiple paths to growth and can deliver results in a variety of conditions,” said Julian Francis, Beacon’s president and CEO.
