Hillman Expands Pro Distribution Footprint with Delaney Hardware Acquisition

Why This Matters to Distributors: Supplier expansion into adjacent categories is increasing product breadth available through distribution while concentrating scale among key vendors serving the pro channel.

Hillman Solutions Corp. has acquired Delaney Hardware, expanding its presence in the professional distribution channel and adding door hardware to its product portfolio.

Delaney, based near Atlanta, supplies entry locksets, deadbolts, door handles, and smart locks used in residential, multifamily, and commercial construction. The company serves builders, contractors, and building-products distributors, with a concentration in the Southeastern United States.

Hillman said the acquisition strengthens its builder’s hardware offering and deepens its reach into pro-focused distribution. The company plans to integrate Delaney into its existing platform and leverage its sourcing, merchandising and distribution capabilities to support growth in the channel.

The acquisition is expected to contribute more than $10 million in net sales in Hillman’s fiscal 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The transaction marks Hillman’s second acquisition this year, following its purchase of Campbell Chain & Fittings, as the company continues to pursue growth through adjacent product categories and distribution channels.

Founded in 1964, Hillman supplies hardware, fasteners and related products to retail, industrial and distribution customers, supported by a catalog of more than 111,000 SKUs and a field sales organization of more than 1,200 associates.
