Respondents to the monthly American Supply Association (ASA) survey, which measures sales trends for the plumbing distributors that belong to the group, reported a median sales increase of 23.5% in August 2022, compared to the prior-year period.

Year to date, sales growth was 21.8%.
However, given the inflationary environment, ASA reports that year-over-year comparisons should be “viewed with caution.” Month over month, respondents reported 14% increase from July 2022.
