AD Extends Reach into Construction with PCS Membership

Affiliated Distributors will expand into the construction market next year with the addition of Professional Contractor Supply.

The Las Vegas-based distributor will become part of AD’s Industrial & Safety – U.S. division on Jan. 1. The move broadens AD’s presence beyond its core electrical, industrial and safety sectors into a wider set of construction materials.

Professional Contractor Supply, previously known as Fasteners Inc. Southwestern Supply, supplies commercial, residential, and industrial contractors across the country. The company recently unified its operations under the PCS name to streamline branding and market focus.

In a statement, PCS CEO Mike Mantis said joining AD will support the company’s plans to grow its national footprint and customer base.

AD said PCS provides established relationships in the contractor market and a logistics network oriented toward fast service at job sites. The organization described the membership as part of an ongoing strategy to diversify into new end-markets and strengthen purchasing scale for its independent distributor members.

The expansion follows a series of moves by AD to deepen its presence across verticals where its members see growth opportunities, including construction-adjacent categories.
