Diversified Foodservice Supply (DFS), a distributor of foodservice equipment, parts, and supplies, has named Lev Peker as its new chief executive officer. The company aims to leverage Peker’s experience to improve distribution efficiency and service for its customer base, which includes restaurants, resellers, and service professionals.
Peker joins DFS from the automotive aftermarket sector, where he led PartsID and CarParts.com. His background includes expanding distribution networks and enhancing fulfillment operations to support service providers and distributors.
DFS, based in Vernon Hills, Illinois, supplies parts and equipment to more than 250,000 customer locations across North America and internationally. Its portfolio includes brands such as Mavrik OCM, Franklin, and KNG. The company offers same-day shipping on thousands of OEM and private label parts.
In a statement, Peker said his focus will be on improving operational performance and supply chain responsiveness to better meet customer needs.
