DXP Enterprises Inc. has completed its acquisition of Triangle Pump & Equipment Inc., a long-established distributor and manufacturer’s representative serving the water and wastewater industries in the Pacific Northwest.
Founded in 1975 and based in Ridgefield, Washington, Triangle provides pumps, process equipment, and aftermarket services for municipal and industrial customers. The company generated approximately $15.1 million in sales and $2.4 million in adjusted EBITDA for the 12 months ended June 30, 2025. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but DXP said it funded the purchase with cash on hand.
DXP chairman and CEO David R. Little said the deal adds new technical depth and market coverage to the company’s growing water business. “We are pleased to welcome the Triangle Pump & Equipment employees to the DXP team,” Little said. “Triangle will provide DXP’s Water division with new and expanded geographic territory and capabilities. Triangle is a great company with key differentiators and provides us with high-caliber people.”
Chief financial officer Kent Yee said the acquisition supports DXP’s plan to scale its water and wastewater platform through targeted deals. “The addition of Triangle furthers us in our mission to build DXP Water into a full-line products and service-focused platform servicing the municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment markets,” Yee said. “We look forward to finishing 2025 on this same path and heading into 2026 with more acquisitions as we scale DXP.”
The signing of the definitive agreement occurred on Nov. 1. Triangle’s operations and team will join DXP’s Water division, extending the company’s footprint in key western U.S. markets.
DXP Enterprises, headquartered in Houston, distributes and services a wide range of industrial products across North America and abroad, with operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Dubai. Its business segments include service centers, innovative pumping solutions, and supply chain services, serving industries from manufacturing and energy to utilities and water management.
The acquisition of Triangle marks another step in DXP’s ongoing expansion strategy as it deepens its position in essential infrastructure markets and builds out a comprehensive water and wastewater solutions portfolio.
