Value Added Distributors has acquired L.T.L. Supply, a Green Bay, Wis.–based manufacturer of custom wire harnesses, in a move that broadens the distributor’s product capabilities and marks its first deal since partnering with Rotunda Capital Partners in 2024. Terms were not disclosed.
The, which fabricates and distributes hoses, tubes, rubber components and hydraulic filtration products for specialty vehicle OEMs and other mobile fluid-power customers, said the acquisition adds a complementary category at a time when OEMs are demanding more integrated component sourcing and assembly support.
LTL, a family-run company, produces wire harnesses and electrical assemblies used across industrial and specialty equipment. The business is known for its technical work and steady lead times—attributes that have helped it maintain long-standing OEM relationships.
“LTL has built an impressive business centered on quality, responsiveness, and long-term customer relationships,” VAD CEO Mike Kostelnik said. “The company fits directly within our platform strategy and enhances our ability to support OEMs with a broader range of engineered components and services.”
The distributor said LTL will continue operating under its current leadership. The acquisition gives LTL access to VAD’s larger operational footprint, including shared systems in IT, finance, HR, and warehousing, while giving VAD additional manufacturing capability and an entry into electrical assemblies.
Vice president Kathy Suring said joining VAD provides a pathway for growth while maintaining the company’s core approach. “Our family is proud of the company we have built and the long-standing relationships we have developed,” she said. “Joining VAD creates an opportunity to expand what we can offer while maintaining the values that have guided our business.”
Rotunda Capital Partners, which took a stake in VAD last year, said LTL fits its plan to build a national platform through acquisitions of distributors serving adjacent OEM component categories. “The business aligns well with VAD’s focus on supporting OEM customers with high-quality components and value-added services,” partner Rohit Dhake said.
Rotunda signaled additional deals ahead in areas such as filtration, gaskets, AC assemblies, wire harnesses, and motion-control systems.
