Builders FirstSource Inc., Irving, Texas, (NYSE: BLDR), reported sales for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, were $3.8 billion, an 8% decrease, primarily driven by lower organic sales and deflation, offset by acquisitions.

Profit was $190.2 million for the quarter.
Full-year sales were $16.4 billion, a 4.1% decrease. Organic sales were down by 5.1%, with sales to multifamily markets declining the most at 26.4%.
Profit was $1.1 billion for the year.
Builders FirstSource is a supplier of building products, prefabricated components and value-added services to the professional market segment for new residential construction and repair and remodeling. It operates in 43 states with 590 locations. Builders FirstSource also distributes dimensional lumber and lumber sheet goods, millwork, windows, interior and exterior doors, and other specialty building products.
