The Producer Price Index for final demand decreased 0.4% in March 2025, seasonally adjusted, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Final demand prices increased 0.1% in February and 0.6% in January.

On an unadjusted basis, the index for final demand advanced 2.7% for the 12 months ended in March.
A 0.9% decrease in prices for final demand goods was the largest decrease since falling 1.4% in October 2023.
The index for final demand less foods, energy and trade services moved up 0.1% in March after a 0.4% increase in each of the previous three months. For the 12 months ended in March, the index for final demand less foods, energy and trade services advanced 3.4%.
