ABC Supply Co. Inc. has named Frank Marcoccio the next president of L&W Supply, its interior building materials distribution subsidiary. The leadership change will take effect Jan. 1, following the retirement of Dan Piché, who is stepping down after more than 40 years in the building materials industry.
Marcoccio, currently chief operating officer of L&W Supply and chief administrative officer of ABC Supply, has spent his career in distribution and building products. He joined ABC Supply in 2010 through an acquisition and rose through branch and regional management roles before taking on executive leadership positions.
As Southeast region vice president, he oversaw development across eight states, experience that ABC Supply executives say positioned him to lead L&W Supply into its next phase.
“Frank’s deep knowledge of the business and his commitment to building a strong culture of entrepreneurship make him the right leader for L&W Supply,” said Mike Jost, president and COO of ABC Supply.

Piché has served as president of L&W Supply since 2017, guiding a period of rapid expansion. During his tenure, the company more than doubled its branch footprint through 27 acquisitions and 44 new locations, tripled its sales and market share, and solidified its standing as the nation’s largest wholesale gypsum specialty distributor.
Before leading L&W Supply, Piché held senior roles at ABC Supply subsidiaries, including Mule-Hide Products. He said his retirement at year-end will mark the closure of a career that has spanned four decades.
ABC Supply acquired L&W Supply in 2016, integrating it into the Beloit, Wisconsin-based distributor’s national platform. L&W Supply now operates more than 270 branches across the country, supplying contractors with wallboard, steel studs, insulation, ceiling systems, and related materials.
ABC Supply, founded in 1982, is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing and select exterior and interior building products in North America, with more than 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada.
