Amazon Business Launches Branded Fleet to Expand Commercial Delivery Capabilities

Amazon Business has begun deploying its first branded delivery fleet designed specifically for commercial customers, marking a deeper push into business-to-business logistics within its broader ecommerce strategy.

The vehicles, now operating in select U.S. markets, are equipped to handle shipments that extend beyond standard consumer delivery, including palletized industrial equipment, bulk replenishment and time-sensitive supplies for offices, warehouses, and institutional facilities.

Shelley Salomon, vice president of Amazon Business, said the new fleet is intended to underscore reliability for organizations that depend on consistent logistics performance.

“When one of these trucks pulls up to a loading dock, office, university or government building, it’s not just about the delivery — it’s about reinforcing the trust our customers have placed with Amazon Business,” Salomon said.

Amazon said the vehicles integrate with delivery-scheduling tools that allow customers to coordinate arrival windows around receiving hours and facility traffic — a growing requirement as the company expands in higher education, government, and industrial markets. Some of the trucks run on compressed natural gas as part of Amazon’s broader shift toward lower-emission transportation.

The company is also expanding Direct Delivery, a program that consolidates multiple packages into a single, predictable truckload. Amazon said the service can ease congestion at commercial campuses, streamline unloading and support palletized shipments for customers with dock capabilities.

Clear exterior branding is meant to help facility teams quickly verify authorized deliveries and manage receiving workflows more efficiently, the company said.

Amazon did not disclose fleet size or its expansion timetable but said more markets will be added as demand grows.
