ARG Industrial CEO Mike Mortensen Named NAHAD President

Mike Mortensen, president and CEO of ARG Industrial, has been named the 2025 president of The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution (NAHAD), a key trade organization representing manufacturers and distributors in the industrial hose, fittings, and fluid conveyance sector.

Based in Anchorage, Alaska, ARG Industrial is an employee-owned distributor and fabricator of hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, serving customers across construction, transportation, energy, and heavy equipment markets throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. The company has expanded significantly under Mortensen’s leadership, including multiple acquisitions in recent years.

Mortensen’s appointment follows years of involvement with NAHAD through committee roles and board service. His term as president comes at a time when the industry is navigating supply chain shifts, increased demand for customized solutions, and the broader impacts of reshoring and infrastructure investment.

“I’m honored to take on this role with NAHAD,” Mortensen said. “It’s a critical time for our industry, and I look forward to working with peers across the distribution network to address both immediate challenges and long-term opportunities.”

NAHAD represents more than 500 companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of hose and hose accessories. The organization focuses on technical training, safety standards, regulatory advocacy, and industry benchmarking.

As NAHAD president, Mortensen is expected to help guide initiatives around workforce development, safety certification, and best practices in supply chain management for hose and accessories distribution.
