Fastenal Company (Nasdaq: FAST), a wholesale distributor of industrial and construction supplies, announced sales in August 2022 were $645 million, up 21.4% from the same prior-year period. In addition, fastener sales grew by 19.8%, safety by 11.7% and other products by 14.5%.

Daily sales in the U.S. grew by 16.5%, sales in Canada and Mexico grew by 17.5%, and sales in other global regions increased by 1.5%. Manufacturing end-market sales rose by 23.5%, while nonresidential construction improved by 5.8%.
