Phoenix-based Avnet (Nasdaw: AVT), electronic components distributor, has named Rebecca Obregon as the new president of Farnell, an Avnet company and high-service electronic components distributor.

Obregon has more than three decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. Before joining Avnet in 2023, she served as a corporate vice president at Amkor Technology.

Avnet had sales of $26.5 billion in fiscal 2023.
Farnell, an Avnet company, has a dedicated team of 3,500 employees.
