Beacon (NYSE: BECN), Herdnon, Va., North American distributor of roofing, waterproofing and other exterior products, has acquired Passaic Metal and Building Supplies Co. (PAMPCO), a distributor of metal, roofing and siding based in Clifton, N.J.

PAMPCO has five branches in New Jersey and one in upstate New York.
The acquisition is Beacon’s ninth so far this year.
