Beacon Agrees to Acquire Smalley & Company

Beacon (Nasdaq: BECN), Herndon, Va., distributor of roofing materials and complementary products across the United States and Canada, has signed a purchase agreement to acquire Smalley & Company, a regional sealant and waterproofing solutions supplier based in Denver, Colo.

“The team’s technical know-how is at the top of the industry, and we look forward to closing this acquisition, so that we can welcome Smalley employees to Beacon and begin serving customers with our expanded products and services,” said Martin Harrell, president of Beacon’s waterproofing division. 

With the acquisition, Beacon looks to bolster its sealant and waterproofing offerings for contractors in the new construction and restoration markets. 

Beacon operates over 530 branches throughout 50 states in the U.S. and 6 provinces in Canada.
