BlackHawk Industrial, Tulsa, Okla., a distributor of metalworking and other mission-critical industrial products, has acquired Alro Industrial Supply in Jackson, Mich., with additional locations in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Clearwater, Fla.

The addition of the three Alro locations establishes a footprint for BlackHawk in Michigan and further expands the company’s presence in the Florida market.
Alro Industrial Supply was a subsidiary of Alro Steel Corporation – a metals and plastics distributor with over 80 locations based in Jackson, Miss.
Alro has developed a proprietary tool management system that assists customers with transaction cost reductions. Alro Industrial Supply is a member of Affiliated Distributors.
BlackHawk is an industrial distributor focused on metalworking products such as carbide cutting tools, abrasives and saw blades. The company provides a full line of MRO, industrial fasteners and packaging products. This is BlackHawk’s third acquisition of 2023.
