Border States, Fargo, N.D., an employee-owned business and a supplier of products and solutions to the construction, industrial and utility industries, has acquired Sequel Electrical Supply, LLC.

Headquartered in Meridian, Miss., Sequel Electrical is an electrical distribution company with over 18 locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Sequel has over 220 employees, primarily serving the construction and industrial markets.
“We have an incredibly talented, dedicated group of employees — the move to join Border States places each of them in a position to enjoy the rewards of employee ownership,” said Lee Moseley, president of Sequel Electrical Supply.
With the acquisition, Border States will have over 3,250 employee-owners and more than 120 branch locations in 29 states.
