Builders FirstSource (NYSE: BLDR), Irving, Texas, national distributor of building products and prefab components, has acquired Douglas Lumber, a Rhode Island-based lumber and building material distributor.
“After almost 50 years as a family-owned company, we are excited about our future with BFS,” said Steve Carlino, Douglas Lumber president.
Builders FirstSource operates 570 locations in 43 states.
