Total inventories of merchant wholesalers, except manufacturers’ sales branches and offices, were $898.5 billion at the end of December, down 0.5% from November, and down 0.1% from December 2023.
The December 2024 inventories/sales ratio was 1.31. The same ratio in December 2023 was 1.35.
