North American distributor of appliance, HVAC, and plumbing parts mSupply has named Daryn Cherry vice president of marketing as the company sharpens its focus on digital strategy and customer experience.
In his new role, Cherry will lead multi-channel marketing efforts aimed at improving service, product accessibility, and delivery performance across mSupply’s growing network.
Cherry joins mSupply from industrial distributor WinSupply, where he spent more than a decade and most recently served as director of e-business. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wright State University.
“Daryn brings a wealth of expertise in ecommerce and digital marketing that will be a tremendous asset to mSupply’s sales strategy,” said Phil Mause, chief commercial officer at mSupply, in a statement.
Cherry said he sees a strong opportunity to expand the company’s digital capabilities and deepen customer engagement. “MSupply is a forward-thinking, customer-focused company with the opportunity to make a big impact within the ecommerce space,” he said. “I’m excited to work at the forefront of those initiatives and contribute to a truly revolutionary customer experience.”
The appointment comes as mSupply continues to reshape its identity following its rebrand earlier this year from Marcone, a long-established multi-vertical distributor. Under the Marcone name, the company grew rapidly through acquisitions in the HVAC and plumbing sectors, tripling in size and expanding its market reach across North America.
Headquartered in St. Louis, mSupply employs more than 2,000 people across the United States and Canada. The company offers next-day ground delivery to 93% of U.S. customers and two-day delivery nationwide, serving professionals across appliance, HVAC, and plumbing industries.
