Excluding transportation, new orders decreased 0.1%. Excluding defense, new orders decreased 0.3%, led by transportation equipment.
Shipments of manufactured durable goods in November decreased 0.1%. This followed a 0.5% October decrease.
Unfilled orders for manufactured durable goods in November were up 0.3%.
Nondefense new orders for capital goods in November were down 0.6%; defense new orders for capital goods were down 12.5%.
