DXP Enterprises Inc. has acquired Pump Solutions Inc., a Texas-based distributor serving the water and wastewater market, in a move that further builds out the industrial distributor’s growing DXP Water platform.
The deal, funded with cash on hand, adds four locations in Texas and additional technical sales and service capabilities to DXP’s portfolio. Pump Solutions, founded in 1999 and headquartered in New Caney, generated about $36.8 million in revenue for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 2025. The companies signed a definitive agreement on Dec. 1.
DXP Chairman and CEO David Little said Pump Solutions gives the company deeper reach in its home state and aligns with a strategy to scale its presence in water infrastructure markets. He described Pump Solutions as a business with “exceptional” service and technical expertise that strengthens DXP’s position with municipal and industrial customers across Texas.
Chief financial officer Kent Yee said the acquisition continues DXP’s work to expand the DXP Water platform into a full-line products and service business, adding that the company expects further deal activity as it enters 2026. He said Pump Solutions’ team will help accelerate growth and improve coverage for customers while contributing to the scale DXP has been seeking in the water and wastewater sector.
DXP, a distributor of pumping equipment, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and industrial services, has leaned on acquisitions to diversify end markets and reduce exposure to cyclical sectors. The company operates across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Dubai, supporting customers in industries ranging from manufacturing and energy to utilities and infrastructure.
Pump Solutions will be integrated into DXP’s existing operations, expanding the company’s footprint in a region where demand for water system upgrades and service support continues to rise. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
