The new location covers 130,000 square feet and aims to reduce delivery times while laying the groundwork for automation.
“With this move we have proactively increased our operations footprint in Illinois by 50% reflecting our confidence in the future of OEM manufacturing in the United States,” said Michael Knight, Endries International’s president and CEO. “This too is our first implementation of a new, high capacity, high throughput distribution system that we will standardize on for similar planned operations expansion in other regions of the country,”
The distribution center includes efficient LED lighting and motion sensors to reduce energy consumption.
Endries ships over 80,000 products through 26 distribution centers in North America and Europe.
