February 2024 sales of merchant wholesalers, except manufacturers’ sales branches and offices, after adjustment for seasonal variations and trading day differences but not for price changes, were $673.7 billion, up 2.3% from the revised January level.

Total inventories of merchant wholesalers were $901.1 billion at the end of February, up 0.5% from the revised January level. Total inventories were down 1.5% from the revised February 2023 level.
The February inventories/sales ratio was 1.34. The February 2023 ratio was 1.37.
