FleetPride Inc., the largest independent distributor of truck and trailer parts and services in the U.S., has named Tom Greco as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Greco, a seasoned executive with more than four decades of leadership experience, takes the helm following a months-long interim period under Stefan Crafton. The appointment signals FleetPride’s focus on accelerating growth and expanding its presence in the heavy-duty aftermarket sector.
“We are pleased to welcome Tom Greco as the next CEO of FleetPride,” said Mark Lovett, managing director at American Securities, the private equity firm that owns FleetPride. “Tom brings deep expertise in transportation, distribution, and consumer services, and we are confident in his ability to lead the company into its next chapter.”

Greco previously served as president and CEO of Advance Auto Parts, where he led a multi-year transformation that included supply chain improvements, operational overhauls, and the acquisition of the DieHard battery brand. Under his leadership, Advance posted five straight years of comparable sales growth and expanded profit margins before his retirement in 2023.
Prior to that, Greco spent more than 30 years at PepsiCo, rising to CEO of Frito-Lay North America. He is widely recognized for driving sustainable growth through execution discipline, innovation, and frontline engagement. He has also served on multiple public company boards.
“I’m incredibly excited to join FleetPride and partner with American Securities,” Greco said in a statement. “The company has a strong foundation, a talented team, and significant opportunities to grow while delivering on its mission to keep the country running.”
Headquartered in Irving, Texas, FleetPride operates more than 300 locations nationwide, including over 80 service centers and five distribution centers. The company recently refreshed its brand identity, adopting the new tagline “Heavy Duty Parts & Service” to reflect its broader capabilities beyond just truck and trailer parts.
