Foundation Building Materials (FBM), a North American distributor of drywall, steel framing, acoustic ceilings and construction supplies, has acquired Rew Materials, a family-owned building materials distributor.

Kansas-based Rew Materials distributes interior and exterior construction supplies across 23 states.
“With these new team members and facilities, FBM is able to increase our product offerings to builders, contractors and the overall construction trades,” said Ruben Mendoza, president and CEO at FBM.
Headquartered in Santa Ana, Calif., FBM has over 300 locations throughout the United States and Canada. The recent acquisition adds 800 REW employees and 45 branches to FBM’s national footprint.
