Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), Atlanta, Ga., distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts, has appointed William P. Stengel as President and COO, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

Genuine Parts also announced that Christopher T. Galla as the new Senior Vice President and General Counsel, effective Jan. 1, 2023.
Stengel joined Genuine Parts in 2019 as Executive Vice President and CTO with nearly two decades of experience. He will report to Paul Donahue, Chairman and CEO of Genuine Parts.
“Will has been actively involved in all aspects of the organization as president over the past two years,” said Donahue. “He has played a leadership role in defining the GPC strategic vision, prioritizing enterprise initiatives and delivering outstanding performance. We look forward to Will’s continued contributions as president and COO.”
Galla has been with Genuine Parts for nearly 18 years and has most recently served as the Vice President and General Counsel, responsible for the company’s legal function. Galla will continue his responsibilities with added duties and report to Donahue.
